September 11: We Will Never Forget

On September 11, 2001, the world watched in horror as two hijacked jetliners crashed into New York City's World Trade Center and another struck the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. A fourth plane, Flight 93, crashed in Pennsylvania after passengers courageously fought back against the hijackers. In total, 2,977 people were killed in the deadliest terrorist attack in American history.

The New York Metro Club, in partnership with several other SCA clubs and honored guests, warmly invites Sun City Anthem residents to attend a powerful, nonpartisan commemoration ceremony on September 11, honoring the bravery and sacrifice of our first responders and remembering those we lost.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of this tragic event, the ceremony provides a meaningful opportunity for reflection, remembrance, and strengthening our community bonds. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from and meet distinguished guests and special invitees.

We welcome everyone to participate, whether you were directly or indirectly affected by the events of that day or simply wish to honor this significant moment in our nation's history. Join us as we gather to reflect, remember, and support one another, fostering a spirit of unity and shared remembrance.
